The Pellet Fuels Institute is a non-profit association that serves the pellet industry, which is comprised of pellet mills, pellet appliance manufacturers and industry suppliers. Founded in 1992, New England Wood Pellet LLC is the largest manufacturer and distributor of clean, renewable wood pellet fuel in the northeastern U.S. The company's flagship facility in Jaffrey, NH produces over 75,000 tons of pellets per year.
